If you want to start or stop any Windows service r for any other reason just follow these easy steps:
1) Go Start > ControlPanel > Administrative Tools > Services. A window like the following opens



2 ) Make sure to select the service you want to start/stop by clicking on it
3 ) Then,on the left side,click either Stop,Start or restart.That's it.
