How to start Windows Faster
If you reduce the number of programs that Windows automatically loads
when it starts up you will find that your computer starts more quickly and it will
be running better.Let us start.
To get rid of these programs you have to use a utility called msconfig:

Click Start > Run

Type msconfig in the text box and click OK or
press enter The System Configuration Utility Opens like the following click the
Startup tab:

In the Startup Item column there is a list of programs
with a checkmark on the far left.If this program has a checkmark , it means that
Windows launch it each time you start the computer,so to prevent a program to be
loaded at start up , just uncheck the box next to that program.
Tips-
Uncheck all the multimedia programs like Real Player,Nero,Acrobat Reader.

Leave all processes regarding Windows and Microsoft office.

Also allow antivirus programs like Norton,AVG,and any antispyware or firewall
running on your computer.

Leave any program related to your printer,so,if you have a Canon printer then
do not delete any process related to Canon.

When you finish and you left only the programs that you want to start when
Windows starts,click Apply.

Click OK
Tips-
To be sure about which program to disable,get the name of the program,visit this site
http://www.processlibrary.com Type the name of the program in the Search box and click Search Now.You should be taken to a page where you can findout whether that program is to be left running or not..

The message box below alerts you to restart the computer for the changes to
take effects.Click Restart .

When Windows starts again,you can see a message like the one following, which
advices you that you changed the way Windows starts.Just tick the box next
to "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when
Windows starts".

Click OK and you have finished.
