How to import E-Mail Messages


  You may be considering to change computer, or upgrade your system or for any other reason like a Hard Drive corruption. For all these hassles the solution is quite simple, assuming you have backed up your emails files erlier.
Here few easy steps to do the job:
  1. First of all,if you have the email files on a CD,DVD or external Hard Drive that you use for back up,just save them all on the new computer in MyDocument
  2. Open Outlook Express
  3. Click on File and select Import /Messages
  4. Outlook import messages window opens,click on Microsoft outlook Express 6 and click Next

  6. On the next window ,towards the bottom,tick Import Mail from an 0E6 store Directory option  Click OK

  8. Click on the Browse button and select the folder with the email files,that you saved on the computer erlier


  9. Outlook Express Browse window

  10. Click OK
  11. click Next
  12. In the next window you can choose which emails folders you want to import or else you can import all of them.Then click Next
  13. All your messages are imported into the new Outlook Express.Now you can click Finish
