How to host your own Website.

Set up and configuring a sub-domain

This tutorial is addressed only to  who runs his own web server and I assume you have already done all the steps to get your site up and running.  Having one ore more sub-domains can be very useful for many reasons, like keeping separate sections of your website, for example,if you have  website called mysite.com and a forum running together, you can create a sub-domain like forum.mysite.com.

While, they will give your website a professional look, may also improve your search engine ranking because they are effectively  different domains and search engines  treat them as  separate web sites.
