OK,now that you have your new subdomain resolved in an IP Address by a DNS
server, the next step is configuring your web server appropriately so it can
handle the requests coming from the net.The webserver can be Apache or Internet
Information Service (IIS).We'll start with IIS.
Go to
ControlPanel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information
Service and right click on Web Sites and choose New > WebSite.

On the page
below (fig 2) ,Type the name you want your sub-domain to appear
in the IIS Manager.You can give it any name here, but it's
better name it like the actual URL

In the next window (fig 3),leave
the IP Address All Unassigned and the
Port 80 as default. Then type the real name of your
sub-domain in the Host header for this web site
box,make sure that it's the same as in zoneedit
configuration. Yhen click Next

You have to enter the path of the
home directory in the window below.(FIG 4) .I suggest to
make a new folder inside the parent site folder and name it
as the sub-domain name.You can click browse and find it.
Leave the Allow anonymous access to this Web site checked if
you want anyone to access the site or else they'll be
prompted for credentials.Click Next

Make sure to tick Read,Run Scripts and Execute
check boxes(FIG 4) Then click Next and voila',the wizard does all the
configurations.
