Configuring IIS to host a sub-domain



OK,now that you have your new subdomain resolved in an IP Address by a DNS server, the next step is configuring your web server appropriately so it can handle the requests coming from the net.The webserver can be Apache or Internet Information Service (IIS).We'll start with IIS.

 

 

    in the IIS Manager.You can give it any name here, but it's better name it like the actual URL
