How to set up a wireless connection in Vista

  1. Go to Start,  right_click on Network and select Properties, Next click Setup a connection or network




  2. Then Set up a wireless Router or Access point and click Next





  3. ~ Vista can't automatically configure your wireless router.If you opt for manual configuration,Vista the router configuration page.Instead we'll save the configuration details to a USB flash drive,therefore click on the other option




  4. Type the SSID you want to use and click Next




  5. Accept Vista random passphrase and click Next




  6. Choose the option that best suits you from the next window and click Next



  7. Slip a Flash drive in the USB port and after vista detects it, save the cofiguration settigs there.
